Dear Parents, 

Spring is over, and we are on the downhill slide toward summer; but there is still much to accomplish. State testing takes place in the month of April, and it is important for everyone to be in school. Please be sure and check your school calendar for additional testing dates for seventh and eighth graders during April.

It is hard to keep students focused on school when the weather warms up and the end of the year is in sight. Parents can help by making school a top priority and being certain their children are here every day possible and on time. A peaceful, calm school morning begins the night before by getting organized and in bed on time. Educating children is a team effort, and parents are an important part of the team. We want your children to be so successful at school that when they leave, we will have created the success “habit” in them, and they will not settle for anything else.

You recently received a pre-enrollment packet for each of your children. It is very important to get that completed and returned to your children’s teacher. If it is returned to school completed incorrectly, your child may not be enrolled for next year; and that would create lots of confusion. Thank you in advance for your help.

The end of the year comes very quickly and builds momentum after spring break. As the year ends, I want to thank you for all you have contributed to making Whitebead School a wonderful place for children and families.
